Job Description:

We are a growing asset management and fintech firm seeking a highly skilled Cross-Platform Mobile Developer to lead the development of our investment ecosystem. In this role, you will be the technical lead for our mobile interfaces, building high-performance applications that empower retail investors to track portfolios, manage assets, and execute trades in real-time. This position requires a rare blend of React Native mastery and a deep understanding of the Nigerian financial regulatory landscape.

The ideal candidate is a TypeScript expert with a proven track record of shipping secure, data-intensive financial applications.

Requirements:

Mobile Development & UI/UX

• React Native Engineering: Develop and maintain high-quality iOS and Android applications using React Native and TypeScript.

• Financial Dashboards: Build sophisticated portfolio management interfaces that visualize asset allocation, risk metrics, historical NAVs, and transaction logs.

• Data Visualization: Implement interactive financial charts and graphs to help users interpret complex market data and returns.

Integration & Security

• API & Real-time Data: Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSockets to handle user authentication, trade execution, and live price feeds.

• Security & Compliance: Implement industry-standard security features, including biometric login, certificate pinning, secure storage, and end-to-end encryption to meet fintech compliance requirements.

• Performance Optimization: Ensure the app remains responsive while handling large datasets, including extensive transaction histories and price feeds.

Collaboration & Strategy

• Hybrid Collaboration: Work in-office 2 days a week to brainstorm with backend engineers, product managers, and QA teams.

• Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all mobile features align with SEC Nigeria regulations, fund management standards, and robo-advisory best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Skills

• Experience: 4–5 years of professional hands-on mobile development experience.

• Stack Mastery: Strong proficiency in React Native (TypeScript).

• Domain Expertise: Proven experience building apps in Fintech, Asset Management, or WealthTech (specifically portfolio or trading interfaces).

• State Management: Expertise in Redux, MobX, Bloc, or Provider.

• Charting Tools: Familiarity with Victory Native, flchart, or similar financial visualization libraries.

• Backend & Persistence: Knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and offline data persistence (e.g., WatermelonDB, Realm).

Fintech & Regulatory Experience

• Compliance Knowledge: Working knowledge of SEC Nigeria regulations, fund management, or robo-advisory concepts.

• Gateway Integration: Experience integrating local payment APIs such as Paystack, Flutterwave, or direct banking gateways.

• Deployment: A history of successfully publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
