Job Description:
- The role is responsible for managing an efficient and safe site that produces finished products meeting customer requirements at the lowest cost while maximizing financial benefits

- Effective management of raw material intermediate and finished product stock levels
- Cost control across labor energy and maintenance

- Direct management and motivation of the production team
Responsibilities - Production Unit
- Define and agree job responsibilities with subordinates set targets and monitor performance formally and informally
- Maintain staff welfare and morale
- Enforce discipline and carry out dismissals as required within company procedures and employment legislation
- Select and appoint new staff
- Ensure all areas operate efficiently within approved financial budgets and drive continual improvement
- Control stock levels of raw materials and finished products through supervisors to respond to product specifications and volume requirements
- Monitor production output yield and extraction capacity and act on variances
- Ensure efficient maintenance of all plant and buildings through preventive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns
General Responsibilities:
- Manage external contractors for cleaning waste disposal gardening and other services in a cost effective manner while ensuring quality
- Maintain perimeter and yard areas in good condition
- Through managers maintain and administer personnel records excluding sickness absenteeism and holiday records
- Ensure safe keeping of company agreements financial documents and related records
- Promote strong communication across the plant through team briefings and discussions
- Identify training needs through managers and support staff development within budget
- Demonstrate flexibility in performing additional management tasks required for business growth.
Requirements:
- BTech or BE from a reputed institute
- 5+ years of relevant experience in handling milling lines.
