Job Description:

Are you a scientist with a flair for business, or a sales professional with a deep understanding of the diagnostic lab? We are seeking a Medical Sales Representative to lead our market expansion in laboratory equipment, reagents, and consumables. This is a role for a technical expert who can navigate the complex decision-making processes of hospitals, diagnostic centers, and research institutions. You will not just be selling "tools"; you will be providing the critical infrastructure that enables accurate diagnosis and life-saving research. Requirements:

1. Market Penetration & Solution Selling

  • Strategic Growth: Promote a specialized portfolio of laboratory equipment and reagents to clinics, diagnostic labs, and research hubs.

  • Demonstration Mastery: Conduct professional product presentations and hands-on equipment training for laboratory scientists and pathologists.

  • Value Proposition: Identify new business opportunities by aligning our diagnostic solutions with the specific clinical needs of healthcare facilities.

2. Relationship Architecture & Account Management

  • Stakeholder Diplomacy: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with procurement officers, medical professionals, and laboratory heads.

  • Commercial Negotiation: Prepare precision quotations and lead price negotiations to close high-value capital equipment deals.

  • Lifecycle Support: Provide proactive after-sales support, including basic troubleshooting and regular follow-ups to ensure maximum equipment uptime.

3. Territory Intelligence & Reporting

  • Market Surveillance: Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback to refine our competitive edge.

  • Strategic Planning: Manage territory routing and time allocation to maximize client face-time and account growth.

  • Data Governance: Maintain airtight sales records and CRM updates, providing management with accurate forecasts and performance reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

Academic & Technical Foundation

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related biological science.

  • Expertise: Proven experience in medical or laboratory equipment sales is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge: A strong technical understanding of diagnostic processes and laboratory workflows.

Core Competencies

  • Persuasive Communication: Ability to explain complex technical specifications in a way that highlights clinical and financial value.

  • Negotiation Skills: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive B2B environment.
