Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and intellectually elite Medical Officer to anchor our clinical engine in Ughelli, Delta. In a fast-paced hospital environment, success is defined by "Clinical Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-fidelity patient diagnosis with the clinical precision required for inpatient care, surgical assistance, and comprehensive medical record governance. This role is designed for a "Medical Architect" with 1–3 years of experience who can blend "Diagnostic Grit" (analyzing complex medical records and test results) with the "Technical Agility" required to assist consultants in Cesarean sections or other surgical procedures.
Requirements:
1. Diagnostic Orchestration & Clinical Governance
Diagnostic Sovereignty: Analyze records, reports, and test results with clinical precision to diagnose complex conditions, acting as the primary "Source of Insight" before consultant referral.
Treatment Architecture: Liaise synchronously with Consultants and Senior Registrars to develop high-fidelity medication plans and inpatient care strategies.
Surgical Power: Assist Consultants in performing Cesarean sections and other urgent surgical procedures, ensuring every intervention acts as a "Source of Health Preservation."
2. Patient Resilience & Record Logic
Record Sovereignty: Ensure the collection of comprehensive, accurate, and concise medical records, ensuring every signed entry acts as a "Source of Truth" for patient attendance.
Care Architecture: Drive quality patient outcomes by participating in case planning, including pre-admission, in-hospital care, and high-fidelity Discharge Planning.
Administrative Stewardship: Perform routine administrative duties and risk management with millimetric focus, maintaining the "Source of Order" within the clinical department.
3. Operational Grit & Team Diplomacy
On-Call Sovereignty: Maintain high-velocity readiness for "On-Call" requirements, ensuring the hospital remains a "Source of Constant Care" for the Ughelli community.
Communication Power: Utilize advanced problem-solving and active listening skills to manage patient expectations and maintain elite "Bedside Diplomacy."
Liaison Logic: Coordinate investigations and medical treatments as directed by the HOD, ensuring "Zero-Friction" in the execution of consultant-led care plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).
Experience: 1–3 years of robust experience as a Medical Officer in a clinical or hospital setting.
Licensing: Must be currently licensed to practice medicine by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
