Job Description:

• Review and develop mechanical system designs, technical specifications, schematics, and drawings for installations, upgrades, and retrofits

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC systems, chillers, FCUs, AHUs, pumps, plumbing, and humidity control equipment

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and safety codes

• Monitor mechanical system performance, analyze energy consumption, and recommend efficiency and sustainability improvements

• Enforce adherence to HSE standards, building codes, and conservation requirements to protect sensitive assets and artifacts

• Provide technical support for climate-control systems in exhibitions and respond promptly to mechanical emergencies

• Maintain accurate documentation of system performance, maintenance logs, and regulatory compliance certifications

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, and general building mechanical systems

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC load calculation tools, and energy modeling software

• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

• Professional registration with COREN or equivalent; HSE certification is a plus

• Excellent leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills

Qualifications and Skills:

• B.Eng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimun 7years of experience in mechanical design, operations, and maintenance, ideally within museums, galleries, or critical facilities.
