Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Mechanical Engineer to anchor the operational engine of our FMCG bottling plant in Abuja. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the line and the precision of the mechanical calibration success is defined by "Mechanical Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize proactive maintenance with the clinical precision required for Krones Machine Repair, Root Cause Analysis, and Technical Knowledge Transfer. This role is designed for a "Systems Architect" specifically a COREN-certified professional with 10+ years of expertise in bottling environments who can blend "Hardware Grit" (executing complex machine modifications and repairs) with the "Analytical Agility" required to execute Performance Breakdown Analysis and Maintenance Policy Development.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Maintenance Governance
Sovereignty of the Machine: Support the entire plant in complex repairs during shifts with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Uptime."
Diagnostic Architecture: Extract and analyze mechanical data for production processes, providing the "Structural Foundation" for data-driven maintenance decisions.
Integrity Stewardship: Lead corrective maintenance and ensure proper troubleshooting, ensuring the "Source of Mechanical Knowledge Transfer" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Performance Logic
Modification Sovereignty: Manage repair activities and the modification process for bottling assets, acting as the primary "Source of Engineering Improvement."
Analytical Architecture: Prepare, execute, and evaluate machine breakdown history, providing the "Functional Foundation" to minimize repair time and prevent recurrence.
Inventory Stewardship: Support and maintain inventory requirements for critical mechanical components, maintaining the "Source of Spare-Part Availability."
3. Operational Integrity & Mentorship Power
Policy Sovereignty: Develop and implement high-fidelity machine maintenance and repair policies, acting as the primary "Source of Engineering Standards."
Personnel Architecture: Evaluate the performance of shift technicians and train operators in basic repairs, providing the "Relational Foundation" for team competency.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 10+ years of Krones-specific expertise to accelerate the "Breakdown-to-Startup" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Plant Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: First Degree or its equivalent in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience: At least 10 years of post-NYSC practical experience in a structured FMCG (bottling) environment.
Technical Power: Specific, verifiable expertise in Krones Machines is mandatory.
Certification: Membership of NSE and COREN certification is required.
Analytical Power: Proficiency in performance breakdown analysis and mechanical data interpretation.
