Job Description:

  • ​We are seeking a Marketing & Growth Executive to fully own and accelerate our marketing function.
  • In this role, you won't just build brand visibility and drive qualified leads for our sales pipeline—you will also act as our internal AI Transformation Champion. You will lead the charge in identifying, piloting, and scaling AI-powered workflows to revolutionize our marketing operations and enhance cross-functional business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • ​Growth & Lead Generation: Plan and execute multi-channel B2B campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Email, and Content Marketing) to consistently feed the sales pipeline with qualified leads.
  • ​AI Adoption & Governance: Develop a phased AI adoption roadmap. Integrate generative AI and automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Midjourney) into daily workflows while establishing clear ethics, data privacy, and brand-safety guidelines.
  • ​Content & Thought Leadership: Partner closely with engineering and technical teams to translate complex capabilities into benefit-driven messaging, case studies, whitepapers, and digital content.
  • ​Website & SEO Management: Own the company website end-to-end, optimizing user experience, tracking analytics (Google Analytics/Search Console), and implementing robust SEO strategies.
  • ​Sales Enablement: Build and maintain a centralized library of pitch decks, product datasheets, capability statements, and competitor intelligence to support the sales team during tenders and high-stakes proposals.
  • ​Events & Partnerships: Manage the strategy, logistics, and ROI execution for industry trade shows, exhibitions, webinars, and partner co-marketing initiatives.
  • ​Cross-Functional AI Training: Deliver basic AI literacy programs and create prompt libraries to help teams outside of marketing (Sales, HR, Operations) automate repetitive tasks.

 

First 90-Day Priorities

  • ​Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing brand assets, website UX, and digital positioning.
  • ​Deliver a data-backed 6-to-12-month marketing plan aligned with company sales targets.
  • ​Present a phased AI readiness assessment and quick-win adoption roadmap to executive leadership.
  • ​Launch at least one highly optimized lead generation campaign with measurable KPIs.

Requirements:

  • ​Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or a related discipline.
  • ​Essential: Professional marketing certification (e.g., CIM, Google Ads, HubSpot Inbound).
  • ​Desirable: Certifications in AI/Data Analytics (e.g., Google AI Essentials), Project Management (PMP/Agile), or a Master’s/MBA.

Experience & Skills:

  • ​5 - 8 years of progressive experience spanning both brand/content marketing and digital performance marketing.
  • ​Proven track record of B2B lead generation with a clear tie-in to sales pipeline growth.
  • ​Hands-on proficiency with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.), SEO tools, and analytics dashboards.
  • ​Demonstrable experience using AI tools professionally for content velocity, campaign optimization, or data analysis.
  • ​Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities, with a knack for clarifying complex technical or engineering-led concepts.
  • ​Asset: Prior experience within the Nigerian or West African B2B market, specifically in the industrial, energy, or engineering sectors.

 

​Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • ​Satisfactory background and reference checks.
  • ​A diverse portfolio showcasing previous campaigns, writing samples, or performance reports.
  • ​AI Practical Exercise: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to demonstrate their AI tool proficiency and prompt engineering skills through a practical use-case scenario during the interview process.

Salary

N300,000 - N500,000 monthly.
