Job Description:
- We are looking for a results-driven Manager to join our team. This role involves leading projects that support government and public institutions in achieving policy, operational, and digital transformation goals.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public sector dynamics and a passion for driving impact through strategic advisory and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage public sector consulting engagements from planning through execution.
- Provide strategic advice to government clients on policy, governance, and operational improvements.
- Design and implement public sector reform and digital transformation initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with public sector stakeholders.
- Support business development efforts including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Guide and mentor junior consultants and analysts.
Requirements:
What We’re Looking For:
- A First Degree is required; an MBA, MSc., or PhD in a relevant field such as Public Policy, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in government, public sector advisory, or consulting (strategy or boutique firms), with exposure to public sector reforms and transformation initiatives; sector experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and decompose complex public sector challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
- Experience preparing high-quality consulting-style deliverables, including policy briefs, presentations, status reports, meeting notes, and project tracking documents.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with government officials, development partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills, particularly in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and policy storytelling abilities.
- Full computer literacy, including proficiency in standard business and analytical tools.
