Job Description:

• To plan and manage the effective execution of IT projects in line with the needs of all business units in the organization and MTNN strategic business plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out feasibility studies for new business initiatives and develop project charters, identifying project scope, expectations, objectives, risks, approach, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders to support business goals.
• Develop detailed work plans and identify project deliverables, ensuring all projects are well defined in terms of milestones and time frames.
• Deploy and manage resources effectively for the successful execution of IS projects, securing the release of required project staff and financial resources.
• Review issues and problems related to projects, manage vendors, administer contracts, identify project risks, and recommend mitigation actions.
• Assist in evaluating, tracking, and managing the development and performance of team members to ensure productivity and achievement of business results.
• Close out projects, ensuring all resources are properly accounted for and released.
• Compile lessons learned for use in ongoing and future projects and participate in post-project delivery reviews.

Requirements:

• First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Social Sciences.
• MBA is an added advantage.
• PMP, PRINCE2, DASM, or PMI-ACP certification.
• Fluent in English language.

Experience:

• 6–13 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience supervising or managing others.
• Experience working in a medium-to-large multinational organization.
• Formal project management experience in a telecommunications business environment (Fintech, start-ups, Customer Care & Billing Systems (CC&BS), or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems environment).
• Proven experience managing large-scale digital projects and solutions across complex, transnational, cross-functional programs and channels.
• Experience facilitating project coordination and managing expectations across internal, third-party, and/or client teams from kickoff to deployment.
• Risk management experience before and during project execution, managing risks within timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
