Your Mission
- You will be responsible for leading the charge in shaping the future of Q-Commerce in Nigeria.
- As our Top Account Manager, you'll drive strategic partner growth, steer high-impact partnerships, and lead one of the most critical commercial teams at Glovo - Account Managers - from great to excellent.
The Journey
- Lead a high-performing team of 8+ Account Managers and Senior AMs, coaching them to deliver measurable impact through strategic partner performance, operational excellence, and revenue growth.
- Shape and execute our long-term partner commercial strategy: growth plans, promotional strategies, advertising strategies, and data-led partner segmentation.
- Own and drive the P&L of Glovo’s top partners and champion strategic partner relationships, from negotiation to retention, to ensure we are the platform of choice for Nigeria’s biggest and most influential restaurants.
- Monitor and improve key business KPIs: GMV growth, partners ads investment & ROAS, and coverage/expansion, constantly driving team’s commercial excellence.
- Set the gold standard for Account Management practices at Glovo Nigeria and beyond.
Requirements:
- You have a solid experience in fast-paced environments (startup, investment banking, top consulting firms or top tech companies)
- Relevant experience leading cross functional or commercial teams of 5+ people
- A data-driven mentality, taking decisions based on data and using good business judgment when necessary
- A growth obsession, you know how to create value, drive ROI, and scale operations sustainably
- The ability to influence at all levels, from internal stakeholders to C-level partners
- You're persuasive in the most pleasant possible way and have no trouble selling anything that brings value to customers/partners and the Glovo platform
- You’re an owner, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented with a hands-on spirit.
- A reputation as a people-first leader: you inspire, coach, and stretch your team to grow.
