Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Manager to oversee daily operations and drive team performance at our Ogba facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining high standards of service or production. You will act as the primary point of contact for staff and management, ensuring that all business objectives are met within set timelines.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in the fast-paced business environment of Lagos.

Requirements:

Operations & Strategy

  • Daily Oversight: Manage and coordinate day-to-day business activities to ensure smooth operations and high productivity.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve efficiency and revenue.

  • Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend innovative solutions to streamline workflows.

Team Leadership

  • Supervision: Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and mentor staff to enhance their professional growth and service delivery.

  • Conflict Resolution: Handle internal and external grievances professionally to maintain a positive brand reputation and workplace culture.

Administration & Compliance

  • Resource Management: Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility management to minimize waste and ensure safety.

  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management regarding sales, expenses, and operational milestones.

  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure the business remains compliant with all local regulations and industry-specific standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Possession of a relevant qualification (B.Sc., HND, or equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, or a field related to the industry.

  • Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role is highly preferred.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Leadership: Strong ability to manage people and delegate tasks effectively.

    • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

    • Location: Candidates must be based in Lagos, with the ability to commute easily to Ogba.

    • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to handling operational challenges.
