Job Description:
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
- The Maintenance Technician participates in and conducts preventive maintenance and repairs of tools and equipment according to standards, procedures and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on assigned equipment in alignment with the established maintenance program and the Reliability-Centered Maintenance strategy, ensuring full adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and standard work procedures.
- Maintain strict transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems by accurately recording materials and supplies used, labor hours, and equipment maintenance performance data including equipment movements, work orders, parts consumption, and maintenance time.
- Ensure full compliance with TLM Product Line standards and operational requirements.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by supporting initiatives and improvement plans within the Maintenance Base (MB) to enhance asset utilization and optimize Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD).
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts aimed at improving asset turnaround time
- Support initiatives to enhance the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians by sharing best practices and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Implement CoSD-improvement projects
- Participate in assigned failure investigations, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Adhere to all requirements of the TLM Competency Management System.
- Ensure that all workshop documentation is accurately completed, well-organized, and properly archived to meet the highest documentation standards.
Requirements:
- HND in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical
- Minimum of 3 years’ shop operations experience in maintenance of surface well test equipment or downhole electronics equipment
- Hands-on competency in failure investigation and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Strong communication skills and team player mentality.
- Adaptability in an ever-changing, dynamic environment.
