About Company:

Stockgap Fuels Limited was incorporated in Nigeria as a private limited liability company. The company is currently engaged in the business of distribution of refined petroleum products and Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG). They are either imported directly from our international trading partners or via coastal lifting through a strategic alliance with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.

Job Description:

  • Conducts required routine / periodic maintenance checks on all pump sheds (WP and LPG).
  • Performs preventive maintenance on WP & LPG pump sheds to ensure optimal performance.
  • Performs corrective & breakdown maintenance on WP and LPG pump shed
  • Monitor and inspect the oil level and coolant leakage of WP & LPG pump shed
  • Inspect
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the pump shed to an approved standard
  • Responsible for the prevention of product leakage in the tank farm
  • Conducts routine checks and preventive maintenance on the tank farm valves and ensure they are in good condition
  • Conducts routine checks on all the electromechanical devices and tank valves
  • Ensure cleanliness of the Farm
  • Conducts routine maintenance checks and ensure the fire pump house is at its optimal efficient level and in line with company standards.
  • Ensure regular inspection and greasing of all valves if necessary.
  • Performs regular routine checks on the external diesel tank and ensure there is no leakage.
  • Ensure general cleanliness of the fire pump house
  • Responsible for daily inspection, preventive/breakdown maintenance alert / execution, equipment status reports every 15 days 
  • Attends promptly to every maintenance repair request and prepares reports on tasks undertaken using the repair request forms 
  • Responsible for housekeeping of every section of the Terminal.
  • Assist in the preparation of permit to work & JHA
  • Identify and report using the HIS form at least two hazards weekly.
  • Ensures compliance with safety rules and standard operating procedures while on duty
  • Any other duty as may be required by the Head, Maintenance or Management

Requirements:

  • Professionally trained in: Mechanical engineering, power electronics systems, mechatronic engineering.
  • Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to work without supervision and as a team

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Oil and Gas terminal equipment.
