Job Description:
- The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all restaurant facilities andequipment are in good working condition at all times.
- The role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and supporting a safeand fully functional environment for staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspection of restaurant facilities and equipment (kitchen and front-of-house)
- Perform preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdown
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, air conditioners, and plumbing systems
- Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems are functioning properly
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Coordinate with external technicians or vendors when necessary
- Maintain maintenance logs and records of repairs and servicing
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Monitor usage of tools and maintenance materials
- Assist in setting up and maintaining equipment for daily operations
- Ensure minimal downtime of critical restaurant equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum of an OND / NCE or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix equipment faults efficiently
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Good problem-solving and technical skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure

Salary
