Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to serve as the backbone of our distribution network. In the restaurant industry, the "last mile" is the most critical; your mission is to ensure that our outlets are never out of stock and that our ingredients arrive in peak condition.

You will be responsible for the strategic movement of food items and supplies, balancing cost-efficiency with the urgent demands of daily restaurant operations. Requirements:

1. Distribution & Fleet Coordination

• Movement Orchestration: Coordinate the daily transportation of food items and materials from central stores to various outlets, ensuring zero disruptions to service.

• Cold Chain Integrity: Ensure all food items are transported in compliance with safety and temperature standards to preserve quality and prevent spoilage.

• Partner Liaison: Manage relationships with third-party transport partners and vendors to guarantee reliable and timely delivery schedules.

2. Inventory Governance & Tracking

• Stock Synchronization: Monitor the movement of goods across the network, ensuring that every transfer is backed by accurate digital and physical documentation.

• Asset Tracking: Maintain detailed delivery records and logs, providing the data necessary for weekly reporting and financial reconciliation.

• Audit Readiness: Conduct regular checks on stock levels at the distribution points to identify and resolve discrepancies before they impact operations.

3. Cost Optimization & Performance

• Expense Management: Track logistics costs (fuel, maintenance, third-party fees) to identify opportunities for reducing overhead without compromising speed.

• Process Efficiency: Continuously refine delivery routes and schedules to optimize turnaround times and reduce vehicle idle time.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all logistics activities meet occupational health and safety standards, particularly regarding food handling and vehicle safety.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.

• Experience: 2–4 years in logistics operations (QSR or Retail experience is a significant advantage).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with basic Inventory Management Systems (IMS).
