Job Description:

• Deliver legal advisory services on regulatory frameworks governing sectors such as energy, finance, FMCG, and technology in Nigeria.

• Conduct legal and policy research to inform client compliance strategies and business decisions.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, MOUs, service contracts, and regulatory documents.

• Support the preparation and filing of statutory documentation with relevant authorities, including CAC, SEC, NAFDAC, and CBN.

• Facilitate client onboarding, KYC processes, and due diligence assessments.

• Interface with regulatory bodies on behalf of clients and ensure timely license and permit renewals.

• Develop internal compliance manuals, policy documents, and risk registers for clients.

Requirements:

• LL.B from a recognized university; BL and admission to the Nigerian Bar.
• 2–3 years post-call experience in a corporate law firm or legal advisory firm.
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance and business advisory.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with multinational or cross-border transactions.
• Working knowledge of company secretarial services.
• Certifications in Compliance, AML/CFT, or Corporate Governance (an added advantage).
