Job Description:
As our Lead Physiotherapist, you will bridge the gap between clinical excellence and team leadership. You will work alongside our experienced chiropractors to deliver evidence-based treatment plans while mentoring junior staff to ensure the highest standards of care. This is an ideal role for a practitioner passionate about musculoskeletal rehabilitation, injury prevention, and multidisciplinary wellness.
Requirements:
Clinical Excellence
Comprehensive Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and design personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Intervention: Deliver expert manual therapy, tailored exercise prescriptions, and advanced pain management techniques.
Patient Education: Empower patients with actionable knowledge on ergonomics, posture correction, and home-based preventative exercise programs.
Documentation: Maintain precise, timely, and compliant electronic patient records.
Leadership & Operations
Mentorship: Provide clinical guidance and supervision to junior physiotherapists, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all services strictly adhere to regulatory requirements and clinical best practices.
Program Development: Help design and launch new wellness initiatives to drive patient engagement and service quality.
Operational Support: Collaborate on scheduling, complex case reviews, and outcome monitoring.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
Team Integration: Partner directly with chiropractors and allied health professionals to provide integrated, holistic treatment pathways.
Communication: Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to streamline patient recovery plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) or equivalent.
Licensure: Must hold a valid professional license and current registration with the relevant regulatory body.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, ideally within musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, or sports rehabilitation settings. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
Core Competencies: Exceptional manual therapy skills, strong clinical reasoning, and the ability to lead a team while managing independent clinical workloads.
