Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor for construction projects involving warehouse and factory construction.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land and site surveys, setting out construction works, verifying structural positioning, and ensuring all measurements align with approved drawings and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out land and engineering surveys for warehouse and factory construction projects.
- Perform site setting out for foundations, columns, roads, drainage, and structural works.
- Establish control points, benchmarks, and survey reference systems on site.
- Prepare and interpret survey data, maps, reports, and layouts.
- Verify dimensions, levels, alignments, and coordinates during construction activities.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment including Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related instruments.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy of construction works.
- Monitor site progress and provide survey support throughout project execution.
- Conduct as-built surveys and prepare final survey reports.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Must have hands-on experience in warehouse and factory construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction surveying methods and site setting out.
- Proficiency in the use of Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and other surveying software/tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
- Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure on construction sites.
