Job Description:
We are launching an exciting premium chocolate sales pilot in Lagos, and we are looking for a high-performing Sales Lead to spearhead this entry. You will be responsible for defining our go-to-market strategy, opening doors in the corporate and premium institutional sectors, and building a loyal base of executive buyers. This is a high-visibility, results-oriented role for a dynamic salesperson who thrives on aggressive targets and premium brand building.
Requirements:
Market Entry Strategy: Design and implement a robust sales strategy to establish our premium chocolate brand across Lagos’ most competitive retail and corporate landscapes.
Strategic Acquisition: Actively prospect and build deep-rooted relationships with corporate organizations, high-end hotels, luxury institutions, and executive gifting buyers.
Revenue Management: Own the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting and negotiation to closing, collections, and driving repeat business.
Field Operations: Coordinate field execution, ensuring seamless product fulfillment, merchandising excellence, and top-tier customer servicing.
Performance Tracking: Maintain a rigorous sales pipeline. Provide transparent, weekly reporting on sales performance, market feedback, and account expansion progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in premium FMCG, hospitality, corporate sales, high-end gifting, or modern trade.
Relationship Management: Proven track record of managing high-value relationships and navigating corporate decision-making hierarchies.
Negotiation & Presence: Superior negotiation skills paired with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Sales Discipline: A strong, data-driven approach to sales tracking, pipeline management, and weekly reporting.
Personal Attributes: High energy, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes pilot environment.
