Job Description:

  • Develop and manage daily kitchen schedules, assigning tasks to staff based on skillsets and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Oversee employee performance throughout the shift, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to maintain quality standards and productivity.
  • Monitor and motivate staff to achieve daily sales and production targets.
  • Ensure all food preparation, cooking, and service procedures comply with industry safety regulations and company protocols.
  • Train and integrate new kitchen staff, providing comprehensive instruction on food preparation techniques, equipment operation, and organization standards.
  • Address employee concerns promptly and professionally, resolving conflicts in a calm and fair manner.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment with zero safety violations.
  • Perform occasional stocking and transfer of supplies within the kitchen area

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a kitchen shift supervisor in a fast-paced QSR kitchen environment.
  • Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling practices.
  • Proficiency in basic computer software programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight, and working in a fast-paced environment.
