Job Description:

• The Head Chef is responsible for the overall culinary operations, menu planning, food quality, kitchen staff supervision, and ensuring health and safety standards are maintained to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and design creative, cost-effective menus that meet guest expectations.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring proper kitchen hierarchy and discipline.
• Oversee food preparation, portioning, presentation, and quality control.
• Manage food costs and maintain budgeted food cost percentages.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Source high-quality ingredients and manage supplier relationships.
• Control inventory, order supplies, and minimize food wastage.
• Collaborate with management for menu promotions and special events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
• Handle guest feedback related to food quality.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Food Quality: 95% Positive Guest feedback scores on meals.
• Food Cost Control: Maintain food costs within budget (0% variance).
• Menu Innovation: 3 New dishes launched per season.
• Waste Reduction: 90% reduction in kitchen waste.

Requirements:

• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior chef position.
• Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of diverse cuisines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• High standards of hygiene and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
