Job Description:
We are seeking a commercially astute and operationally rigorous Key Account Operator to anchor our strategic partnerships in Lagos. In the high-velocity Nigerian payments landscape, success is defined by "Transaction Velocity", the ability to embed our financial solutions so deeply into a merchant's workflow that we become their primary engine for growth. This role is designed for a "Partnership Architect" with at least 3 years of experience who can blend "Deep Data Analytics" with the "Relationship Diplomacy" required to manage large-scale retailers and corporate entities.
Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Friction Operations and Aggressive Transaction Expansion." You will be the primary advocate for our most valuable clients: responsible for diagnosing business needs, coordinating internal technical resources, and driving the stable growth of key performance indicators (KPIs). If you possess "Exceptional Problem-Solving Skills," a background in Fintech or Acquiring Business, and a results-oriented mindset, we want you to drive our strategic excellence.
Requirements:
1. Strategic Relationship & Service Governance
Account Stewardship: Manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle for strategic merchants, acting as the bridge between their business goals and our technical capabilities.
Customized Solutioning: Conduct deep-dive analyses of client business models to design and deploy bespoke payment solutions that solve specific friction points in their settlement and collection processes.
Business Reviews: Lead regular on-site visits and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to continuously optimize collaboration models and reinforce the value proposition.
2. Growth Engineering & Data Intelligence
Transaction Expansion: Analyze client transaction data to identify "untapped" growth opportunities, driving strategies that increase wallet share and transaction frequency.
KPI Monitoring: Maintain a high-fidelity dashboard of client performance metrics, ensuring stable growth and immediate intervention if transaction volumes dip.
Product Advocacy: Systematically collect client feedback to influence our product roadmap, ensuring our services evolve in lockstep with the needs of large-scale merchants.
3. Cross-Functional Troubleshooting & Project Management
Internal Resource Orchestration: Coordinate with DevOps, Settlement, and Hardware teams to resolve complex client issues ranging from device failures to reconciliation discrepancies.
Project Leadership: Manage the deployment of new system integrations or device rollouts across multiple client locations (e.g., retail chains) with 100% operational readiness.
Operational Troubleshooting: Act as the ultimate "fixer" for strategic accounts, ensuring that any technical or financial bottleneck is resolved with minimal impact on the client’s daily operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in account operations within the Payments, Internet, or Financial Services industries.
Domain Knowledge: Thorough understanding of acquiring business operations and payment industry processes.
