Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Key Account Manager to lead our Oil & Gas sales operations in the Southern region. This is a hybrid leadership role that demands both a strategic mindset to drive regional growth and the tactical ability to mentor and develop a high-performing sales team. You will serve as the primary architect of our regional strategy, managing high-value relationships while empowering your executives to excel in one of Nigeria's most critical economic sectors.

Requirements:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, coach, and mentor a team of sales and business development executives. You will set performance benchmarks, conduct regular reviews, and foster a high-performance culture focused on customer success.

  • Regional Strategy: Drive the regional sales strategy, ensuring optimal territory allocation and the execution of business plans that maximize market coverage and revenue growth.

  • Strategic Account Management: Take direct ownership of key strategic accounts. You will engage with senior-level decision-makers, lead complex contract negotiations, and drive partnership discussions.

  • Operational Excellence: Manage the regional sales budget, ensure precise pipeline forecasting, and drive the adoption of CRM tools to maintain data integrity and team productivity.

  • Market Expansion: Proactively identify new business opportunities, lead market expansion initiatives, and maintain deep relationships with key industry stakeholders in the South.

  • Client Retention: Oversee high-level customer satisfaction and relationship planning, ensuring that our service delivery consistently meets the rigorous standards expected in the Oil & Gas industry.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

    • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership/management role.

  • Regional Expertise: Strong, proven understanding of the Southern Nigerian market dynamics and industry landscape.
