Job Description:

• Conduct routine field surveys for drilling, blasting, excavation, and other mining activities.
• Collect and process spatial data using survey instruments such as Total Stations, GPS, and leveling equipment.
• Assist in preparing survey plans, drawings, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly production.
• Monitor excavation progress and provide accurate volumetric calculations for ore and waste material.
• Mark mining boundaries, haul roads, and stockpiles with precision.
• Maintain and update mine plans and survey databases in collaboration with the planning team.
• Ensure survey equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and used safely.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Support internal and external inspections and audits.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with survey instruments (Total Station, GPS, leveling equipment, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Surpac, or other mine planning/survey software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Mine Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or field exposure in mining preferred).
