Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our design team in Abuja. You will support our senior staff through all project phases—from initial concept development and drafting to on-site inspections. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious architecture graduate looking to gain hands-on experience, contribute to high-quality projects, and build a career in the Nigerian construction industry.

Requirements:

  • Design & Drafting: Produce detailed working drawings, 3D models, and project presentations using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

  • Project Documentation: Assist in preparing technical specifications, project reports, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

  • Site Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure design compliance, and address on-site technical challenges.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs align with Nigerian building codes and safety standards; support the team in securing necessary planning permits.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, contractors, and external consultants to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: A B.Sc. or B.Tech in Architecture (Completion of NYSC is mandatory).

  • Experience: 0–2 years of post-NYSC professional experience in an architectural firm.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of local building regulations and approval processes in Nigeria.

  • Professional Standing: Membership with the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) or ARCON registration is considered a significant advantage.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
