Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Officer to join our finance team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will support the daily accounting operations, assist in financial reporting, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Requirements:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.

• Support the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and schedules.

• Monitor daily financial transactions and address discrepancies promptly.

• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of an HND (Higher National Diploma) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in an accounting or finance role.

• Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Location: Candidates must be based in or willing to work in Lagos.
