Job Description:

We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and proactive Junior Accountant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to grow their accounting career within a fast-paced fintech environment. You will support daily financial operations, payroll coordination, reporting, and interdepartmental collaboration.

 

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post asset, liability, and capital account entries
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and prepare regular reports
• Assist with financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation
• Monitor and report petty cash, profit and loss statements, and expense compliance
• Support tax computations and filing of returns
• Ensure confidentiality in handling financial records and audit findings

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years of accounting or finance-related experience (NYSC experience acceptable)
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
