Job Description:

Air Peace is seeking a data-driven International Pricing Analyst to manage and optimize our global fare structures. In this role, you will be the analytical engine behind our international revenue strategy, ensuring that our prices are competitive, accurately filed, and aligned with market demand. You will monitor global competitors in real-time, execute complex fare filings via GDS and ATPCO, and provide the insights necessary to maximize yield on our most prestigious long-haul and regional routes. This is an ideal role for an analyst who combines technical system expertise with a sharp commercial mindset.

Requirements:

1. Global Fare Management & Execution

• Technical Filing: Execute and maintain international fares, taxes, and surcharges across the Passenger Service System (PSS) and Global Distribution Systems (GDS).

• Promotion Implementation: Support the launch of international tactical pricing and promotional offers to stimulate demand during low seasons.

• Integrity Audits: Perform rigorous audits of filed fares to ensure 100% accuracy, preventing revenue leakage and pricing discrepancies.

2. Market Intelligence & Competitor Benchmarking

• Competitor Tracking: Daily monitoring of international competitor pricing strategies to protect Air Peace’s market share on key routes (e.g., London, Mumbai, Johannesburg).

• Demand Analysis: Analyze booking trends and passenger behavior to identify "price elasticity"—determining how price changes affect our load factors.

• Actionable Insights: Translate complex market data into clear recommendations for the Pricing Supervisor and Revenue Management teams.

3. Performance Monitoring & System Quality

• Revenue Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on fare performance, analyzing the direct revenue impact of specific pricing initiatives.

• Error Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve technical pricing issues within the GDS/PSS environment to ensure a seamless booking experience for customers.

• Cross-Functional Support: Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and the Call Center to ensure new international fares are communicated clearly and applied correctly.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or Aviation Management.

• Experience: 2–4 years in airline pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics, with specific exposure to international routes.

• Systems Knowledge: Strong familiarity with ATPCO filing and GDS systems (Amadeus/Sabre) is highly preferred.

• Market Awareness: A deep understanding of international aviation dynamics, including currency fluctuations and global seasonality.
