Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Internal Auditor to anchor the governance engine of our operations in Onitsha. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the audit and the precision of the control success is defined by "Operational Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize full-cycle audit processes with the clinical precision required for Fraud Prevention, Inventory Verification, and Information Security. This role is designed for a "Systemic Architect" with an Accounting Degree/HND and 2+ years of experience who can blend "Analytical Grit" (mastering the Sage accounts package and market price surveys) with the "Strategic Agility" required to evaluate risk exposures and enforce HSE compliance for line workers.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Risk Governance

• Audit Sovereignty: Perform the full audit cycle with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Effectiveness."

• Control Architecture: Conduct risk assessments to identify loopholes and prevent fraud, embezzlement, or wastage, providing the "Structural Foundation" for institutional security.

• Integrity Stewardship: Evaluate the safeguarding of company assets and verify their existence, ensuring the "Source of Asset Fidelity" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Verification Logic

• Verification Sovereignty: Review all non-cash payables (payroll, taxation, suppliers) and verify items supplied before storage, acting as the primary "Source of Expenditure Accuracy."

• Inventory Architecture: Carry out periodic counts across all sections of operations, providing the "Functional Foundation" for supply chain transparency.

• Survey Stewardship: Conduct external verifications and market price surveys to ensure procurement value, maintaining the "Source of Competitive Pricing."

3. Operational Integrity & Compliance Power

• Reporting Sovereignty: Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Audit Committee, acting as the primary "Source of Management Intelligence."

• Compliance Architecture: Verify PPE issues and check worker compliance with HSE rules, providing the "Relational Foundation" for a safe and regulated workspace.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Sage accounts expertise to resolve data abnormalities in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Financial Throughput" in Onitsha.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of Second-Class University Degree or HND in Accounting or related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience; Sage accounts package experience is required.

• Certification: ACA or ACCA is a significant advantage.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with auditing and legal standards within an FMCG environment.

• Location: Must reside within Onitsha or its environs.
