Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to advance your career in auditing? We are seeking a proactive and strategic Internal Audit Officer to join our team in Arepo, Ogun State.

In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining operational excellence, ensuring financial reliability, and safeguarding company assets. You will oversee the full audit cycle, monitor compliance with company policies, and drive continuous improvement through risk management and quality control.

Requirements:

• Audit & Compliance: Conduct comprehensive Operations Standard Compliance (OSC) audits to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality management systems.

• Risk & Improvement: Proactively identify operational loopholes, recommend risk-aversion measures, and formulate actionable strategies to address weaknesses and improve internal controls.

• Financial Oversight: Monitor and report on the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial data to support strategic management decision-making.

• Follow-up & Implementation: Track audit recommendations to ensure satisfactory resolution of significant issues and maintain a consolidated, uniform approach to quality management.

• Reporting: Regularly report on store compliance to standards and provide management with insights on business improvement opportunities.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an Internal Auditor.

• Professional Certification: Relevant qualifications from recognized bodies such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA are required.

• Technical Skills: Proven knowledge of auditing standards, financial laws/regulations, and proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an Internal Auditor.
