Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Internal Audit Manager to oversee governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks across our multi-site manufacturing operations in Nigeria and Cameroon. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our operational integrity by identifying control gaps, mitigating risks, and ensuring financial compliance across our diverse production plants.

Requirements:

• Audit Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive, risk-based internal audit plans across our plants in Ogun, Kano, and our operations in Cameroon.

• Process Review: Conduct in-depth reviews of manufacturing cycles, including production costing, procurement, inventory management, and fixed asset controls.

• Operational Verification: Lead surprise stock counts and perform rigorous verification of raw materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and finished goods.

• Risk Management: Assess and report on financial, tax, operational, and regulatory compliance risks.

• Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to identify inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and potential fraud risks.

• Reporting & Follow-up: Prepare professional audit reports and ensure the effective tracking and resolution of all audit findings.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with plant management and finance teams to implement best-in-class internal controls.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education & Certification: Mandatory ICAN qualification (ACCA is acceptable). Possession of a CIA or CISA certification is a significant advantage.

• Experience: 4–7 years of auditing experience, with a proven background in the manufacturing or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of product costing, inventory management, and production processes.

• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with major ERP systems, such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.

• Professional Background: Prior experience in a "Big 4" accounting firm is highly preferred.

• Mobility: Must be willing and able to travel frequently to support our multi-site operations within Nigeria and internationally in Cameroon.
