Job Description:

Are you a technical problem-solver who enjoys making complex systems "talk" to each other? We are seeking an ICT / Network Configuration Specialist to serve as the technical brain of our smart building projects. While our installation team handles the cables and mounting, you own the configuration, programming, and final functionality.

Your mission is to transform a collection of hardware into a stable, secure, and integrated ecosystem. From setting up IP-based CCTV networks to programming fire alarm panels and smart gateways, you ensure every device is online and performing perfectly before handover. If you have a solid grasp of networking and a passion for smart technology, this is your chance to specialize in high-end systems integration.

Requirements:

1. Systems Programming & IP Configuration

• Device Setup: Program and configure ELV hardware including IP Cameras, NVRs, Biometric Access Control, and Public Address systems.

• Network Logic: Manage IP addressing, port forwarding, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) settings to ensure high-speed, stable connectivity for all smart devices.

• Firmware Governance: Oversee software updates and firmware patches to ensure all systems are running on the most secure and efficient versions.

2. Integration & Commissioning

• Interoperability: Integrate disparate systems (e.g., linking fire alarms to access control for emergency release) to create a truly "smart" building environment.

• Functionality Testing: Conduct rigorous end-to-end testing of all systems to identify and resolve logic errors or connectivity gaps before client handover.

• Technical Handover: Provide professional support during the commissioning phase, demonstrating system functionality to clients and providing basic user training.

3. Troubleshooting & Support

• Advanced Diagnostics: Logically diagnose and solve software or connectivity issues that the installation team cannot resolve.

• Configuration Records: Maintain precise documentation of IP schedules, system passwords, and configuration settings for future maintenance.

• System Optimization: Support upgrades, resets, and reconfigurations for existing clients to ensure their smart infrastructure scales with their needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

• Technical IQ: Strong hands-on experience with IP-based systems. You should be comfortable with networking fundamentals (Subnets, Gateway, DNS, Port Mapping).

• Familiarity: Experience with major CCTV brands (Hikvision, Dahua, etc.), access control software, and ELV platforms.

Core Competencies

• Logical Analysis: Ability to isolate issues between hardware, cabling, and software settings.

• Communication: Ability to work effectively with physical installers and explain technical status to clients.

• Focus: This is a technical role—ideal for someone who excels at configuration rather than heavy site labor.
