Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and drive organizational excellence.
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner who can balance operational efficiency with employee engagement while ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Partner with senior leadership to forecast staffing needs and organizational changes
- Lead change management initiatives and organizational development programs
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Talent Acquisition & Management:
- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle from job posting to onboarding
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors
- Design and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze departure trends.
Employee Development & Engagement:
- Create and manage comprehensive training and development programs
- Design career progression pathways and succession planning initiatives
- Implement performance management systems and conduct regular reviews
- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee satisfaction and productivity
- Organize team-building activities and employee recognition programs.
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation
- Manage benefits enrollment, administration, and vendor relationships
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Design and implement incentive programs and bonus structures.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain up-to-date employee handbook and policy documentation
- Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions
- Conduct workplace investigations and implement corrective measures
- Manage workers' compensation claims and safety compliance.
HR Operations & Systems:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS systems
- Generate reports for management and regulatory requirements
- Streamline HR processes through technology and automation
- Manage HR budget and control departmental expenses.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 4-6years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Experience in organizations with 100+ employees preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday, BambooHR, ADP, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Familiarity with payroll software and benefits administration platforms.
Professional Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of employment law and HR best practices
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits design principles
- Experience with performance management methodologies
- Understanding of organizational development and change management.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree/HND
- Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA is an advantage
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).

Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with standard business hours.
Compensation Package
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience, from 350,000 to 450,000 Naira
