HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) OFFICER AT NEWGATE MEDICAL SERVICES

Newgate Medical Services Limited started operations in October 2000 with a committed staff of 10 with the aim of bridging the obvious gap identified in health care delivery service in Ikorodu. We decided to change the face of healthcare by raising the standard of healthcare delivery. We have, over the years, maintained our standards with continuous improvement of performance. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• Develop and implement effective human resource policies.
• Deploy and automate HR processes using appropriate software tools.
• Identify staffing needs and prepare or review job descriptions.
• Conduct recruitment exercises and negotiate employment agreements.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
• Oversee staff onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage across branches.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records and HR documentation.
• Manage employee benefits, welfare programs, and professional development initiatives.
• Supervise company personnel and drive staff motivation and engagement.
• Support management in achieving strategic HR and organizational objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant HR experience.
• Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPM) from a recognized body will be an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets will be an added advantage
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to long-term growth with the company.
• Willingness to work on some weekends and public holidays when required.
• Living within proximity to Ikorodu is an added advantage.
