Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and professionally rigorous HR Officer to anchor the human capital functions of our hotel. In the hospitality industry, success is defined by "Service Consistency", the ability to recruit, train, and retain a workforce that embodies the brand’s standards of excellence. This role is designed for a "People Operations Specialist" who can blend "Meticulous Compliance" with the "Emotional Intelligence" required to manage employee relations in a 24/7 operational environment.

Your mission is to ensure "Optimal Workforce Productivity and a High-Performance Service Culture." You will be the primary steward of the employee lifecycle: responsible for high-volume recruitment, the implementation of rigorous labor policies, and the coordination of staff development programs. Requirements:

1. Talent Acquisition & Lifecycle Management

  • Recruitment Excellence: Manage the end-to-end selection process, ensuring that every hire possesses the technical skills and "Hospitality Mindset" required for hotel operations.

  • Seamless Onboarding: Design and execute orientation programs that integrate new hires into the hotel’s culture and service standards from day one.

  • Records Governance: Maintain high-fidelity employee files, contracts, and HR documentation, ensuring they are audit-ready and compliant with data privacy standards.

2. Performance, Training & Culture

  • Growth Coordination: Identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted staff training and development programs to enhance service delivery.

  • Performance Architecture: Facilitate periodic performance evaluations, ensuring that staff objectives are aligned with the hotel’s guest-satisfaction goals.

  • Culture Advocacy: Drive staff engagement initiatives and promote a positive work environment to reduce turnover and boost employee morale.

3. Compliance, Payroll & Employee Relations

  • Regulatory Diplomacy: Ensure strict adherence to national labor laws, health and safety regulations, and internal hotel policies.

  • Conflict Resolution: Act as a neutral mediator in employee relations matters, managing grievances and disciplinary actions with fairness and professional discretion.

  • Operational Reporting: Monitor attendance and leave records to support payroll preparation and provide management with actionable workforce planning reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Certifications: Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or PHRi) is an added advantage.

  • Experience: Proven experience in HR management, preferably within the Hospitality or Service sector.
