Job Description:

  • Our client is seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to management, support organizational development, drive employee engagement, and ensure HR best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Support performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, and improvement plans.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and organizational culture programs.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to inform decision-making.
  • Lead and support change management initiatives across departments.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to build workforce capability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5 – 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
