Job Description:
We are seeking a high-integrity and systems-oriented HR Operations Manager to anchor our organizational governance. In a complex regulatory landscape, success is defined by "Process Fidelity", the ability to harmonize high-accuracy payroll systems, robust HRIS data, and strict adherence to labor laws. This role is designed for a "Governance Architect" with 5–8 years of experience who can blend "Analytical Data Management" with the "Emotional Intelligence" required to manage grievances and promote a respectful workplace culture.
Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Error HR Service Delivery and Absolute Regulatory Compliance." You will be the primary steward of the HR infrastructure: responsible for payroll integrity, version-controlled policy management, and acting as the process owner for conflict resolution. If you possess "Audit-Ready Discipline," fluency in English and Hausa, and professional certification (SHRM, CIPD, or CIPM), we want you to drive our operational excellence.
Requirements:
1. Systems Integrity & Total Compensation
HRIS/ERP Stewardship: Own the end-to-end data lifecycle within the HRIS, ensuring 100% accuracy in employee records, attendance, and leave management.
Payroll & Benefits Engineering: Provide high-fidelity payroll support and coordinate benefits administration in collaboration with Finance and external vendors.
Data Security: Act as the guardian of employee privacy, ensuring all data management practices comply with global security standards and local privacy laws.
2. Regulatory Governance & Audit Readiness
Compliance Orchestration: Monitor and coordinate all regulatory filings, licenses, and registrations required for regional operations.
Audit Leadership: Prepare for and lead internal/external HR audits, ensuring that findings are met with immediate, systemic corrective actions.
Document Control: Oversee a rigorous records management system, maintaining version-controlled policies and SOPs to ensure the organization stays ahead of legal changes.
3. Employee Relations & Grievance Sovereignty
Conflict Resolution Ownership: Serve as the strategic lead for the grievance handling process, ensuring every issue is resolved with confidentiality, fairness, and speed.
Respectful Workplace Advocacy: Promote a high-energy, respectful culture by acting as a liaison between employees and management to resolve friction points.
Investigation Coordination: Lead investigations into complex complaints, tracking resolution status and ensuring stakeholders are updated throughout the process.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Public Administration, or Business Administration. (Professional certification like SHRM-SCP, CIPD, or CIPM is highly preferred).
Experience: 5–8 years in HR operations and compliance, preferably in manufacturing or fast-paced industrial environments.
Linguistic Skills: Proficiency in English and Hausa is essential for effective stakeholder engagement.
Technical & Core Competencies
Legal Mastery: Deep knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and regulatory reporting requirements.
System Proficiency: Hands-on experience with HRIS/ERP platforms and complex payroll workflows.
Interpersonal Grit: High emotional intelligence for managing sensitive employee relations and investigations.
