Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to support the company’s human capital needs. The HR Officer will be responsible for managing employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building a strong workplace culture, and supporting organizational success in a fast-paced real estate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment and selection process, from job posting to onboarding.
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary issues with professionalism.
- Coordinate training, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Monitor staff performance and support performance appraisal systems.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
- Provide HR reports and updates to management as needed.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. / HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- 3-5 years of HR experience (experience in real estate or related sector is an added advantage).
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, Nigerian labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HR software knowledge is a plus.
- A people-oriented, proactive, and organized professional.
Salary
