Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive HR Assistant to join our team in Ikota, Lagos. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of our Human Resources department, ensuring that our daily people processes run smoothly. From managing recruitment cycles and supporting payroll to maintaining employee records and fostering a positive work environment, you will play a critical role in our organizational success. Requirements:
Recruitment & Staffing: Support the end-to-end recruitment process by managing job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
HR Operations & Documentation: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Prepare essential HR reports, documentation, and correspondence as required.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a seamless transition and oversee offboarding procedures for departing staff.
Payroll & Attendance: Assist in the preparation of payroll and ensure accurate tracking of staff attendance and leave.
Employee Relations: Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely HR-related support and handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies and relevant Nigerian labor regulations.
Engagement & Performance: Support performance management initiatives and assist in organizing employee engagement programs to drive culture and productivity.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in an HR or administrative support role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
HR Knowledge: A solid understanding of fundamental HR processes, best practices, and Nigerian labor laws.
Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, administrative, and time-management skills. You possess clear communication abilities and the interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse team members.
Location Preference: Candidates must reside in close proximity to Ikota, Ajah (or be willing to relocate).
Salary
