Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Officer to oversee daily office operations and manage the full cycle of human resources processes. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency while fostering a positive workplace culture in our Gbagada office.

Requirements:

  • Office Management: Maintain day-to-day office operations, including facility management, supply procurement, equipment upkeep, and budget/expense oversight.

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Execute end-to-end recruitment, from drafting and posting job descriptions to screening, interviewing, and facilitating new-hire onboarding.

  • Policy Development: Develop and implement robust office policies and procedures to ensure workplace efficiency and regulatory compliance.

  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal staff communication and external stakeholder engagement.

  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate physical and digital personnel records, manage performance appraisals, coordinate staff training programs, and oversee disciplinary actions.

  • Compliance: Ensure all workplace practices align with Nigerian labor laws, tax regulations, and internal company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: B.Sc in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. Professional HR certification is required.

  • Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in an Administrative or HR capacity.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant HR management software.

  • Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll management, tax deductions, compensation structures, employee engagement strategies, and performance appraisal workflows.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, high attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

  • Residency: Must reside in Gbagada or its immediate environs.

  • Certification: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
