Job Description:

We are seeking a commercially astute and operationally hands-on Hotel Manager to oversee our property in Warri. In this leadership role, you will be the custodian of our hotel’s financial health and operational success. We are looking for a unique profile: someone who combines the rigorous financial discipline of an Accountant with the service-oriented leadership of a veteran Hotel Manager. If you have the drive to optimize our revenue, maintain strict cost controls, and represent our brand with professional excellence, we want you to lead our team.

Requirements:

• Financial Stewardship: Leverage your background in Accountancy to manage the hotel's P&L, oversee budgeting, monitor daily revenue, and implement robust cost-control measures across all departments.

• Operational Management: Direct the day-to-day activities of the hotel, ensuring all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B) operate at peak efficiency and meet established quality standards.

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy and guest satisfaction. Analyze financial reports to identify trends, mitigate risks, and uncover growth opportunities.

• Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and guests. Use your strong presentation skills to represent the hotel professionally and manage relationships with key partners.

• Team Development: Build, train, and inspire a diverse team, ensuring clear communication, professional grooming, and adherence to company policies.

• Technical Compliance: Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all hotel operations comply with local regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (Mandatory).

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.

  • Accounting Experience: Proven experience in a Hotel Accounting role is mandatory.

  • Hotel Management: Demonstrable experience in general Hotel Management operations.
