Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function at our hotel in Ikeja. In this high-intensity hospitality environment, you will be the bridge between management and our workforce, ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop the talent necessary to provide a world-class guest experience. From seasonal hiring spikes to daily staff welfare and compliance, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the human capital that keeps our hotel running seamlessly.
Requirements:
Strategic Talent Management: Design and execute hiring plans tailored to our seasonal demand. Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new team members.
Operational HR & Payroll: Manage comprehensive compensation and benefits plans. Oversee daily attendance, shifts, overtime, and leave management with precision.
Performance & Development: Coordinate specialized training programs (such as customer service excellence) to ensure our staff consistently meets hotel quality standards.
Employee Retention & Welfare: Implement effective retention initiatives (e.g., performance-based bonuses). Coordinate essential staff logistics, including transport, catering, and accommodation where required.
Compliance & Administration: Maintain meticulous employee records, including contracts and legal work documentation. Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and queries.
HSE Oversight: Ensure all hotel staff fully comply with health and safety regulations to protect our team and our guests.
Reporting: Track and analyze key HR metrics, such as employee turnover rates, to provide actionable data for executive decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: B.Sc in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. An additional diploma in Hotel Management is a distinct advantage.
Experience: 0–6 years of experience in an HR management role, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the hospitality industry.
