Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and charismatic Hostess to anchor the front-of-house operations at Royal Mandarin Restaurant. In the fine-dining sector, success is defined by "First-Contact Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize a warm, professional welcome with the clinical precision required for reservation management and table rotation. This role is designed for a "Hospitality Architect" who can blend "Social Agility" with the "Operational Grit" required to manage guest flow during peak dining hours.
Requirements:
1. Arrival Orchestration & Guest Diplomacy
Elite Reception: Provide a high-fidelity welcome to all guests, ensuring every arrival is acknowledged with warmth and professional elegance.
Reservation Sovereignty: Manage the restaurant’s booking system with millimetric precision, confirming reservations and managing the "Walk-In" flow to maximize occupancy without compromising service quality.
VIP Stewardship: Identify and prioritize regular patrons and VIPs, ensuring their specific seating preferences and dietary requirements are communicated to the service team.
2. Floor Governance & Seating Logic
Table Rotation Engineering: Strategically assign tables to balance the workload across server stations, ensuring "Zero-Bottleneck" service and optimal dining room flow.
Menu Architecture Support: Present menus and provide a high-level overview of daily specials or signature Mandarin dishes, acting as the bridge between the guest and the culinary team.
Waiting List Management: Maintain clinical control over the waiting list during peak periods, providing guests with accurate wait times and ensuring their comfort while they wait.
3. Service Synergy & Brand Integrity
Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate synchronously with the waitstaff and kitchen management to ensure tables are cleared and reset with high-speed efficiency.
Brand Ambassadorship: Maintain an immaculate personal presentation and professional demeanor that reflects the premium identity of Royal Mandarin Restaurant.
Feedback Collection: Act as the initial point for gathering guest impressions upon departure, providing management with actionable insights to improve the dining experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Candidates should possess a relevant qualification (OND, Diploma, or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field).
Experience: Prior experience as a Hostess, Front Desk Officer, or in a premium Customer Service role is a significant advantage.
Industry Context: Familiarity with fine-dining etiquette and restaurant reservation software.
