Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and commercially astute Head of Sales to anchor the growth engine of our technology startup. In the competitive Nigerian SaaS and software landscape, success is defined by "Ecosystem Penetration", the ability to move beyond transactional selling to become a strategic partner for businesses in hospitality, education, and agriculture. This role is designed for a "Revenue Architect" with 4+ years of experience who can blend "High-Level Enterprise Negotiation" with the "Growth Hacking Grit" required to scale software adoption in a fast-paced environment.
Your mission is to ensure "Market Share Dominance and High-Velocity Revenue Growth." You will be the primary steward of our commercial success: responsible for identifying market whitespace, closing high-value enterprise deals, and building a high-fidelity sales pipeline. If you possess "Exceptional Negotiation Prowess," a track record in ERP or SaaS sales, and the ability to navigate complex decision-making units, we want you to lead our commercial transformation.
Requirements:
1. Revenue Engineering & Market Expansion
Sales Architecture: Design and implement sector-specific sales strategies tailored to the unique pain points of hotels, supermarkets, schools, and agricultural enterprises.
New Market Discovery: Proactively identify and capture new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to diversify the startup’s revenue streams.
Strategic Growth: Own the end-to-end business development lifecycle, from cold prospecting to the final closure of high-value enterprise contracts.
2. Enterprise Relationship & Account Diplomacy
Decision-Maker Engagement: Build and maintain "C-Suite" relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders to ensure long-term retention and expansion.
Solution Storytelling: Lead high-impact presentations and software demonstrations that clearly articulate the ROI and transformative power of our digital solutions.
Negotiation Mastery: Anchor complex commercial negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that maximize lifetime customer value.
3. Pipeline Intelligence & Product Synergy
Pipeline Stewardship: Manage the company’s sales pipeline with mathematical precision, ensuring consistent progress toward aggressive quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the "Voice of the Customer," working closely with product and technical teams to ensure our software roadmap aligns with market demands.
Performance Analytics: Track and report on core sales metrics, providing high-fidelity forecasts and actionable insights to the executive leadership team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of robust experience in tech sales, specifically within the Software or SaaS sectors.
Industry Edge: Proven experience selling ERP, Hotel Management, or School Management systems is a distinct advantage.
