Job Description:
- The Head of Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence while contributing directly to business growth and client success.
- The role oversees the end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring all activations and events are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest quality standards.
- Beyond execution, the role plays a key part in interpreting client briefs, supporting ideation, and shaping commercially competitive proposals.
- The successful candidate will combine strong operational expertise with commercial acumen, enabling the organisation to win new business, retain clients, and scale sustainably.
Key Responsibilties
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all projects, ensuring delivery excellence, efficiency, and profitability.
- Partner with Client Services and Business Development teams to develop compelling, execution-led proposals and support client acquisition.
- Contribute to business growth by strengthening proposal conversion rates through robust operational planning and execution credibility.
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Drive client retention and account growth through consistent service delivery and long-term relationship management.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including project execution, procurement, and vendor management.
- Develop and optimise operational systems, workflows, and SOPs to support scalability and consistency.
- Manage operational budgets, cost control, and margin performance across projects.
- Provide on-ground leadership during activations and events to ensure quality assurance and effective issue resolution.
- Track and report on key operational KPIs including profitability, client satisfaction, conversion rates, and delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify operational improvements and support business expansion initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement across the operations function.
Requirements:
Professional Background:
- The ideal candidate is a seasoned operations leader with strong experience managing large-scale projects within experiential marketing, events, advertising, or related industries. They should demonstrate the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Event Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications in operations or project management is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in operations management, with proven leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success managing end-to-end project execution and cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting business development, client engagement, and proposal development is highly desirable.
Functional & Technical Competencies:
- Strong operational leadership and project execution capability.
- Proven experience in client management from brief to delivery.
- Ability to translate client needs into practical, high-impact experiential solutions.
- Strong financial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and margin management.
- Experience designing and improving operational systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills for data-driven decision-making.

Salary
