Job Description:

Capsgain Solutions Limited is seeking a Head of Marketing / Growth Lead to own the end-to-end revenue growth for our multi-product e-commerce brands. This is a high-accountability leadership role designed for a professional who views marketing through the lens of a P&L statement. You will not just "run ads"—you will build a systematic engine that turns capital into profitable, predictable revenue.

The ideal candidate understands the unique complexities of the Nigerian e-commerce landscape, specifically the operational nuances of Pay-on-Delivery (PoD), and is obsessed with data-driven scaling over vanity metrics.

Requirements:

Revenue & Growth Ownership

  • Target Accountability: Own the monthly revenue targets and ensure marketing spend translates into actual banked revenue.

  • Profitability Management: Rigorously manage Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), margins, and order volume to maintain healthy profitability.

  • Strategic Growth: Transition the marketing department from a cost center to a high-efficiency growth engine.

Paid Advertising Leadership

  • Media Oversight: Manage and mentor Media Buyers across Meta and TikTok, implementing structured testing and scaling frameworks.

  • Resource Allocation: Make critical daily decisions on budget distribution—deciding which products to scale, which to pause, and when to relaunch offers.

Creative & Messaging Direction

  • Strategy Lead: Collaborate with Creative Strategists, Video Editors, and UGC Creators to define high-performing hooks, angles, and offers.

  • Rapid Iteration: Drive a high volume of creative output, ensuring the brand stays fresh and relevant in a fast-moving market.

Product Launch & Research Oversight

  • Pipeline Management: Work with the Product Research team to select winning products and define pricing, bundles, bonuses, and guarantees.

  • Offer Engineering: Design offers that maximize Average Order Value (AOV) and conversion rates.

Data, Reporting & Accountability

  • Performance Tracking: Deliver clear weekly reports tracking KPIs across ads, creatives, and specific product lines.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identify performance dips early and propose data-backed solutions immediately.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

    • B.Sc/HND in Digital Marketing or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 3–6 years in performance-driven e-commerce.

    • Proven experience managing ₦20m+ monthly ad spend.

    • Deep expertise in Meta Ads (TikTok Ads experience is a significant advantage).

  • Core Competencies:

    • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Nigerian consumer behavior and the logistical realities of Pay-on-Delivery.

    • Leadership: Experience

    • Education:

      • B.Sc/HND in Digital Marketing or a related field.

    • Experience:

      • 3–6 years in performance-driven e-commerce.

      • Proven experience managing ₦20m+ monthly ad spend.

      • Deep expertise in Meta Ads (TikTok Ads experience is a significant advantage).
