Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and high-integrity Head of Finance to oversee our organization's financial health and ensure the optimal allocation of capital and resources. In this executive-level role, you will be the primary architect of our financial strategy, responsible for everything from high-level forecasting and risk management to the hands-on supervision of our accounting team. Your goal will be to drive profitability while maintaining rigorous compliance and secure financial procedures.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance leader who can translate complex data into actionable insights for the Board of Directors, ensuring that every investment and budgetary decision aligns with our long-term growth objectives.

Requirements:

Strategic Financial Planning

• Forecasting & Analysis: Project monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to guide corporate strategy.

• Investment & Funding: Evaluate and decide on strategic investments and consult with board members regarding diverse funding options.

• Cost Optimization: Conduct in-depth profit and cost analyses to recommend and implement effective cost-reducing solutions.

Operational Oversight & Governance

• Budgetary Control: Manage the internal approval process for departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal discipline across the organization.

• Resource Allocation: Oversee cash flow management and the beneficial allocation of company resources to maximize operational efficiency.

• Risk & Compliance: Lead risk management initiatives and ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply strictly with financial regulations.

Team Leadership & Security

• Team Supervision: Directly manage and mentor the accounting team, overseeing bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accuracy.

• Data Integrity: Develop and enforce secure procedures to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality for all sensitive financial information.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • MSc, MBA, or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ICAN, or ACCA) are highly preferred.

• Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance, or a similar senior leadership role.

  • Hands-on expertise in budgeting, cash flow management, and risk mitigation.

• Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in modern accounting software and ERP systems.

  • Expert-level knowledge of data analysis and financial forecasting models.

• Core Competencies:

  • Decision-Making: Solid analytical skills with the ability to make high-stakes financial decisions under pressure.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing finance team.
