Job Description:

  • The Head of Corporate Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and enterprise-wide oversight to ensure the optimal, cost-effective utilization of organizational resources and efficient execution of projects and customer experience across Internal IT, Administration, and Project Management functions.
  • The role drives operational excellence through the development, implementation, and enforcement of robust standards, policies, systems, and procedures that enhance efficiency, governance, cross-functional alignment, and sustainable business growth.
  • The incumbent will ensure these functions operate in alignment with the company’s vision, mission, strategic priorities, and overall business objectives while delivering accurate, timely, and insight-driven data to support executive decision-making and organizational performance.
  • The Head of Corporate Operations will provide leadership, direction, and performance oversight to all teams within the portfolio, fostering accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • The role further oversees the effective planning, management, maintenance, security, and optimization of company facilities, infrastructure, and assets to ensure business continuity, operational resilience, and risk mitigation.
  • The incumbent will establish and monitor controls that safeguard organizational resources, minimize operational exposure, and strengthen corporate governance.
  • Overall, the position is accountable and functions as a business enabler, ensuring every corporate function contributes measurably to profitability, efficiency, governance, and long-term scale.

Responsibilities
Project Management:

  • Oversee the tracking, development, and implementation of innovation across Project Management, Customer Experience, Service Delivery, and Quality Assurance functions.
  • Drive enterprise-wide project governance to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, scope, and in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate project activities of internal teams and stakeholders to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and optimize supplier and vendor relationships to ensure superior operational performance in cost, quality, and service delivery.
  • Monitor global product and service pricing trends, evaluate business implications, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
  • Lead contract negotiation processes, including commercial terms, risk mitigation, and legal engagement where necessary.
  • Monitor all third-party payments to ensure alignment with approved budgets, validated deliverables, and value realization.
  • Maintain a robust Decision & Commitment Log to track decisions, accountability, deadlines, and execution outcomes.
  • Ensure disciplined tracking, escalation management, issue resolution, and closure of strategic commitments.
  • Identify execution bottlenecks, business risks, and operational misalignment, escalating critical issues with corrective recommendations to the CEO.
  • Engage proactively with government agencies, regulators, vendors, and external stakeholders on matters impacting project operations.
  • Ensure project and operational compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and internal governance standards.

Internal IT:

  • Oversee the internal IT infrastructure and systems to ensure efficiency, data integrity, and support for business operations.
  • Implement technology-driven solutions to improve productivity and enhance interdepartmental collaboration
  • Provide direction, guidance, and support to departmental teams to ensure alignment with business goals and operational excellence.
  • Provide enterprise-wide strategic oversight for the Internal IT function, ensuring all technology infrastructure, systems, and digital tools are aligned with the Group’s long-term business strategy, operational priorities, and growth agenda.
  • Drive the Internal IT strategic roadmap to enhance business productivity, operational scalability, process automation, cybersecurity resilience, and cross-functional efficiency.
  • Ensure Internal IT operates as a business enabler by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing technology-driven solutions that optimize workflows, improve employee productivity, strengthen collaboration, and support executive decision-making.
  • Lead enterprise digital transformation initiatives, including business process automation, systems integration, workflow optimization, and innovation projects that improve service delivery and organizational agility.
  • Define and monitor IT performance metrics, including system uptime, service responsiveness, cybersecurity compliance, user satisfaction, and digital adoption rates, to ensure continuous improvement.

Administrative:

  • Provide leadership and oversight to the Administrative Department.
  • Supports executive management in the development of the corporate strategy and tactical plans by providing strategic insights on administration.
  • Ensure that all business needs are adequately supplied in the most efficient and timely way possible.
  • Provides leadership and direction for the achievement of targets for the Administration support service.
  • Monitors operations against external best practices and advises business units accordingly.
  • Provides periodic updates to Executive Management on Corporate Services.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, leadership, managerial, and oversight support to the team and perform other duties that may be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

Strategic Coordination & Cross-functional Alignment:

  • Drive leadership alignment through structured operational cadence, governance frameworks, follow-through systems, and performance accountability.
  • Champion enterprise-wide execution discipline to ensure strategic objectives are translated into measurable outcomes.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and managerial oversight across all teams under supervision.
  • Build a high-performance culture centered on accountability, ownership, innovation, confidentiality, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Champion continuous improvement across all supervised functions.
  • Execute additional strategic business deliverables as required by the Chief Executive Officer.
  • NB: This job description may be reviewed periodically to align with the Group’s evolving strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc/MBA in Business Administration/ Economics or any related disciplines is required
  • Professional certification or membership is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 12 years in a related function, at least 5 years at the Senior Management level, business management, and leadership positions
  • Experience of statutory interface with relevant authorities/agencies.
  • Proven senior experience working directly with senior stakeholders.
