Job Description:
- The Head, Maintenance is responsible for developing, leading, and executing the maintenance strategy across all EatNGo production facilities and outlets.
- The role ensures optimal performance, safety, reliability, and compliance of all equipment, utilities, and facilities while minimizing downtime, controlling costs, and supporting business growth in a high-volume FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement the maintenance strategy across all facilities and outlets
- Ensure high equipment uptime and minimal unplanned downtime in a fast-paced FMCG environment
- Oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of production, kitchen, refrigeration, and utility equipment
- Manage and develop multi-site maintenance teams, driving performance and accountability
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and HSE teams to support uninterrupted operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to reduce equipment failures
- Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization
- Oversee asset management, maintenance records, and use of CMMS systems
- Manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Support audits, equipment upgrades, and new site commissioning
- Track and report maintenance KPIs including uptime, downtime, and maintenance costs
Requirements:
- Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance systems
- Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost control, and vendor management
- Track record of driving equipment uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives
- High attention to detail with a strong safety and compliance mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure FMCG environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 10 years hands-on maintenance/engineering experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, QSR, or hospitality operations
- At least 4–5 years in a senior maintenance leadership role managing teams across multiple sites
- Proven experience ensuring effective operation and maintenance of utility equipment in a high-volume FMCG environment.
