Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Head of IT Strategy and Planning to anchor the technological engine of our organization. In the volatile digital landscape of Nigeria, success is defined by "Architectural Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize legacy infrastructure with the clinical precision required for Digital Transformation, IT Roadmap Execution, and Capital Allocation. This role is designed for a "Strategic Architect" with proven leadership experience who can blend "Fiscal Grit" (managing multi-million naira IT budgets) with the "Technical Agility" required to lead Enterprise Architecture and Governance frameworks.

Requirements:

1. Vision Orchestration & Roadmap Governance

• Strategy Sovereignty: Define and lead the long-term IT strategic vision, ensuring every technology investment acts as a "Source of Competitive Advantage."

• Roadmap Architecture: Build and execute high-fidelity IT roadmaps with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Digital Transformation Velocity."

• Investment Stewardship: Oversee IT capital and operational expenditures, providing the "Fiscal Foundation" for sustainable technological scaling.

2. Governance Resilience & Architectural Logic

• Framework Sovereignty: Implement and optimize IT Governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL), ensuring "Zero-Friction" in compliance and service delivery.

• Architecture Architecture: Lead the development of the Enterprise Architecture (EA), acting as the primary "Source of System Integration Integrity."

• Risk Stewardship: Identify and mitigate technological and cybersecurity risks, maintaining the "Source of Institutional Resilience."

3. Performance Integrity & Leadership Power

• Metrics Sovereignty: Define and track IT Performance Metrics (KPIs/SLAs), providing the "Analytical Foundation" for service excellence.

• Vendor Architecture: Manage high-stakes strategic partnerships and vendor ecosystems, optimizing the "Source of External Technical Support."

• Leadership Logic: Mentor and lead high-performing technical teams, utilizing extensive leadership expertise to optimize the "Source of Organizational Talent."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Relevant University Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering preferred); an MBA or Master’s in a related field is a significant strategic advantage.

• Experience: Proven track record in a Senior IT Leadership or Strategic Planning role, ideally within a large-scale corporate environment.

• Certifications: Professional credentials such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or COBIT are highly desired.
